David Duryea, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Western Michigan University.
When asked what inspired Dr. Duryea to become an optometrist, he explained that his uncle went blind due to a farm accident, and it was then that he became interested in vision care. Dr. Duryea enjoys developing long-term friendships with his patients and colleagues.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Duryea enjoys fishing and traveling.

I've been a patient at Advanced EyeCare in St. Charles for 10+ years. I had my yearly visit yesterda... Show Morey and as usual, I was greeted by the friendly ladies at the front desk. The big difference for me yesterday was seeing Dr. Wicke for the first time. I was so impressed with how thorough she was with my exam. She recommended some products to help with my dry eyes and also my itchy eyes due to allergies. Last year I tried bifocal contact lenses and they were awful. I told her about my experience and she gave me a trial of a different bifocal contact and one day later I'm absolutely amazed; I can see again! I'm so grateful to Dr. Wicke for taking her time with me and explaining everything. I recommend her and all the staff. Thank you!!
